It feels like i have not been blogging for so long! I totally forgot my blogger username and password for a moment, heh! Bad news : my laptop spoiled so I will be relying a lot on the i-touch to go online. I just cant live without the internet!

Camwhored with my course mates cause I needed a break from doing assignments.

There’s so much to do and so little time left.

Uni has been my second home now. Have been staying there for more than 12 hours lately – from 8am till 9pm.

Zomg! Super tiring but fun. The campus is really beautiful at night, but walking to the carpark is really scary. :/ One thing good bout going home late is that you can drive at night! :D
Hee hee, I super duper love driving at night cause no one’s in a rush to go anywhere and even if they are, the road is freaking empty for you to speed!

& Speaking of driving, it scares me how much Im starting to drive like my
dad. AND, i think it’s a good thing, right Wen Yee? :P
Im becoming an aggressive but safe driver (of course!) cause I realise nobody’s nice to you on the road. Yeap, it took me 1 year to realise that! –.-

So kids below 17 years of age, let me tell you something : Driving is not fun at all, ESPECIALLY when you’re the eldest kid cause your younger sibling(s) will make full use of you!

Anyways SHORT UPDATE! I need to start studying for real, like study everyday cause I am starting to not know what the lecturer is talking about.
I am getting lots and lots of A1 sized drawings and the uni, for some reason have NO extra architecture studios for us.
Using the normal lecture theatre SUCKS cause you have those chairs with tables attached to it and the space is so small.
I dont know about you but I get very annoyed when there isnt sufficient space for me and my stuffs (my files & bag) so yeah, forgive me if I get a lil cranky during Measurement class, blame the uni! Gaaaaaah!

But the interesting part is that we’re going to visit some construction site real soon! :D HAHA! I cannot imagine what we’re gonna do there.

Cant wait for Sem 1 to end!

I’ve been blogging since form3 (I think), and you know what. I think it’s time to bring in something different rather than just WORDS and pictures all the time!

I’m moving one step forward and Im gonna start putting in videos a.k.a VLOGS!
OH YEAH!

I know I am not some famous blogger and you might think that it’s a stupid idea but faithful readers of this blog should know that I get bored with things way too fast. I cannot stick to one blog design for maybe ,lets say 3 months (or less). That’s why you see different blog layouts very often. =/
And my point is, I need to put in new stuff in my blog!

But of course Im not gonna make those vlogs with my face in front of the camera the whole time ranting bout life, I’m gonna probably record my university assignments & tasks , and show you guys what I actually learn in my course. :)

Woooohoo! Did I just make my blog sound VERY interesting? Heh, I sure did!

In fact I have a few videos from my site surveying camp already. Im just too lazy to edit and upload. =/

Lets hope this video idea actually works, cause I wanna view it too and laugh at myself when Im old next time, that’s if the world doesn’t end in 2012. –.-

Whatever, the trip was disastrous. I accidentally kicked a metal pole, which caused my toenail to be semi-broken, and I got bitten by red ants on my thighs.

Best Concert Ever : Maroon5

HAHA! I NEED TO BLOG ABOUT THIS WHILE IM STILL SO DAMN EXCITED ! Im still having this Maroon 5 fever, so until it’s over, you’ll be hearing me singing to their songs and watching their concert videos over and over again!
Ahhh so happy! X)

Gotta thank Sai Keet and Wen Yee for being my concert kaki for the evening and also Wen Yee’s friends for letting us cut queue. :P
We got front row seats because of them! AND, it TURNS OUT THAT THE CHEAPEST ticket doesnt suck AT ALL!

Currently uploading Sunday Morning vid to my youtube channel! Purposely created an account just for this, which is a good thing also,cause I can start subscribing to XiaXue, David So, Ryan Higa and Kevin Wu! :D You should check them out !

Anyway Adam sounds really good live! :D His voice so sexy I can melt and die! I should be Rihanna when he sang “If I Never See Your Face Again”.
Kian Yee said he’ll help me get up on stage so I can duet with him. But, I dont wana ruin the concert. The moment I start singing, no one will pay attention to Adam Levine anymore, cause I can sing better than him!

Jokes aside!
He sang Misery, If I Never See Your Face Again, Stutter, She Will Be loved, Sunday Morning, Never Gonna Leave This Bed, This Love, Makes Me Wonder and lottttts more! :D The concert was about 1 and a half hours long, from 9:30pm to about 11pm

I bought the T-Shirt too! but Im regretting :P I want the white one, but it’s like twice more expensive. Sigghh.

And that’s how Maroon 5 ended their concert in Malaysia!

Crepe Paper Rose Pomander!

Hey guys! :) You know I wanna thank my bestie: Crystal Cheong HY for helping me with the crepe paper rose pomander! :D

The reason why I did it is because I wanna hang something in the car that represents me , cause you know, driving a silver myvi is really really boring! You can see it EVERYWHERE! So this thing I made is pink and rosey and very girly! :)
Something I really like la,ok? So at least when you see that thing hanging in the car you’ll go “Oh! Look. It’s CARRINE’S myvi” :P

So HELLO anyways! Yours truly got the opportunity to watch Bruno Mars live in PWTC last Sun all thanks to my buddy, Adib! :D He joined that Maxis contest and he got it. HE GOT IT for free yo! :D
So the whole weekend I was blasting his songs cause I only know a few. :P

PWTC is actually quite a small place so Im guessing thats why Bruno Mars’ tickets are sold out in 2days. (?) Annnd, I thought the rock zone is gonna be like SUPER packed & Im gonna die from being squashed by his die-hard fans, but it turned to be not that crowded! In fact, I was standing quite near the stage but was blocked by some tall dude. Haisyooo. So most of the time I can only see his back up singer. Is that what you call it? Whatever laaa. Those who went for his concert should know what I mean! :P

He performed songs like (not in order) : The Other Side, Runaway Baby, Marry You, Billionaire, Count On Me, Liquor Store Blue, Grenade and also covered the late Michael Jackson’s Billy Jean and more songs which I cannot remember at the moment!

Haha! That’s right folks, my family and I went to Genting like last 2 weeks, on a beautiful Sunday!
The weather was great I tell you. Very sunny but cooling at the same time.

So anyways, my sis and I tried whatever ride we could. Made her try the Cockscrew, and she loved it! Wanted to go for Go-Kart but she was too short.
Could have gotten the Superman ride coupon for FREE from some nice old man, but I said no thank you. :(
Damn, should have taken it.

So, last Saturday, Wen Yee and I went to ChicPop. It was so disappointing cause we didnt buy anything!
PLUS our feet hurts like !#$%^ cause we wore heels there!
HAHA! I dont know what we were thinking. Oh, and it was also disappointing cause we didnt get the freebies in that GAP bag cause it’s limited. I heard there’s lots of cool stuff in it like a tank top? Daanng, we were THIS close *snaps finger* to getting it. Oh well, at least I got a packet of free pad.

So anways, if you have been reading my blog, you’ll know that I have started my degree course. Yeaps! :) My course involves building-related stuff and also money!
My lecturer always say “Time is money”. I have heard her saying that like so many times already. I think she need to start listening to the song Price Tag! -.-

So if you’re asking me how am I coping with my course, I’ll tell you it’s bad. haha! not so extreme but I just need to put extra effort to go read up on construction stuff. I dont really have the basic knowledge on building construction you see. So whenever the lecturer starts blabbing, I can roughly get the idea but I'll still lost be somewhere, heh! :)

Am currently feeling really stressed now. It's not easy to plan an outing with so many people. Gotta text, call and text again. Fuhh, luckily my mum was in a good mood when she saw my phone bill. It was rm102.80 for last month :P
I think it's gonna be higher this month. I have a feeling that it will be.

But I hope not. And today, she will be ditching me with a plumber for a friend who just gave birth to a baby. Thanks mum! :P

Hello there! :D so sorry for the lack of updates. You have no idea what it's like using this old, well.. kinda old desktop here. I cannot even edit my blog layout! :( So yeah, this layout is just temporary until I get my Dell Insiron 14R or or maybe a Sony Vaio. I don't know. But hopefully I will get it SOON cause I can't stand using this anymore.

So, my holidays are pretty good. Have been going out almost everyday. :) And the most memorable one would be Denise's Farewell party. You know you've been reading other people's blogs about their friend leaving and all but you never imagined that this day is gonna happen to you too. And yeah, it's happening and of course, I am happy for you Nise it's just that things are not gonna be the same without you! :(

So yesterday we crashed her house, helped her to pack and I believe we did a great job on that! :)

Yes, I wanted marshmallow brown but since Kath found it first and it was the only one left a Watson’s, I decided to take Glossy Brown instead! ;)

So the very next day, Kath and Gie came over to my house.
Gie wanted to highlight her hair so I let her use a bit of my hair dye.

I almost ate a cockroach.
It was in my panmee and I was enjoying it until my sis asked “is that a cockroach?” *points at the lil black thing.

I looked at it floating on my soup, examined it and….

Yeap. It IS a freaking cockroach.

It’s disgusting thinking that you ALMOST eat it. Or maybe I did eat one of its legs or something. I dont know! :( MAYBE!

And speaking of cockroaches, I have an almost similar experience back then when I was in form 4 /5. But I shall not bring it up cause it’s very disgusting. Just so you know, it didnt involve a cockroach but some other disgusting creature. Yeap.

SO ANYWAYS,

I went out with my highschool besties last Fri. Oh yes! It was Deepavali and Mid Valley was damn crowded, just saying. Nonetheless, we still had fun, didnt we? :) I mean how often do we hang out together now since we all have our own college life?

My second sem timetable sucks. Here’s why :
I only have 2 classes on monday, the earliest class and also the latest class. Econs from 8am-10am and english from 5:30pm-7:30pm.
Kinda crazy eh. So, you must be wondering what on Earth am I gonna do from 10am to 5:30pm. Well, like today I have spent and will be spending the whole 7 hours in college. WenYee’s watching how I met your mother now and I am blogging cause there’s nothing better to do!

I suddenly feel the need to blog again!
Hahah! ANYWAYS! Sem break is GREAT! did I tell you, I got a part time job somewhere? No? Okay. So I am telling you now!
I got a part time job! :)
I am supposed to stop this Sunday but the boss wants me to work during weekends after my college starts. Hmm.
I really dont know if I should but I dont mind trying just for the fun of it… until when maybe college life starts to get really hectic again then I guess I’ll stop.

So, today I drove Wen Yee to college!
This is the 3rd time I’m driving to college and the very first without my dad. It’s very scary wokay!
I have changed my perception on driving. Driving is not so cool anymore ESPECIALLY after getting your car dented when it is less than one week old! :P

AND, I have underestimated my ability to multitask all these while! Turns out that I can STILL respond to Wen Yee while driving on the highway! :)

PAM is short for Pertubuhan Arkitect Malaysia, so basically the 1 hour talk we listened to was all about architecture. So yeah, nothing much to do with me, but I still listened though! :D

I was so tempted to buy their magazine eventhough I know I’m not gonna read it! :P That is why my weekly allowance is never enough. I spend on things which I do not really need. Sigh. It is SO hard to save at least rm 10 a week okay.

Die lah if we move to lakeside. The food is like more expensive than LCS!

Last Thursday was the day I went for the JPA interview! fuhhh! Was so scary wokay! Thankfully the interviewers were REALLY friendly people!
According to Chon Fan, the interviewers in Sarawak are shit scary. They question you until you cannot answer AND they don’t smile at all!
Since his group of people applied for engineering (the interview is conducted in groups), his group discussion topic is : What activity have you done that is related to engineering?
One of his friend, who wanna be a chemical engineer said something bout solar energy and the interviewer was like “how does solar energy relate to chemical engineering?” .

:O

So, to the people in Sarawak who are aiming to get JPA scholarship, choose KL for your place to be interviewed,kay? :P

Mine was way much better than what Chon Fan experienced!
The interviewers were funny! :) and they smile! AND smile! :D
So everyone in the room weren’t that nervous!
And my group discussion topic is : Rakyat Malaysia kini semakin pentingkan diri. Bincangkan.

Hey ya’ll! :) My blog is very dead, and for your info, IM STILL ALIVE! :D

I have like .. I dont know? umm 5? assignments and they are all due in MARCH! The best part is, none of them is DONE! Malaysian Studies presentation is like next Thurs but Wen Yee and I have not started anything cause seriously, I think our task ain’t easy.
We kept seeking Ms Ira for help and after she explained to us, we seem to be lost again.
Oh, and don’t talk about Pn Yati’s class. Our assignment this time is about COLOURS! :) Yeah. Pretty interesting you may think, but nonono. It’s … I don’t know lah but it is tough.

ICI class so far is pretty cool! :) We’ll be conducting our client-consultant meeting somewhere on the 3rd week of March and I’m playing a role as the civil and structure engineer!
Ben took my role as a QS! :( cheater!
He always get away with easy jobs. Even if he get tough jobs, he wouldn’t really care cause he knows he has rocking friends like US to help him find info, cause yeah, it’s a GROUP project.

Was skype-ing with him that day and he was like “yeah yeah Im gonna start my assignment now!”

A few days later he’ll say “Oh, I haven’t start my assignment yet lah! “

Im in Taylor's Library now, sitting next to Wen Yee, feeling really lifeless. Class starts at 12:30pm and I am waiting for Ben Tan Bok Hoe to arrive so we can start discussing our Creative Thinking project.
College has been kinda fun so far, minus the part where we have to do 2 sketches for every Elements of Natural and Built Environment class.
The lecturer will talk for like 20 minutes and after that ,she'll ask us to go out and look for inspiration for our 2 sketches. swt.

Argh I am so hating myself right now. I just can’t decide when to go college.
1 second I feel like going Jan intake and the other, March intake.
So, I told my mum to quickly register me in Taylor’s for the January intake BEFORE I start changing my mind. Again.

And that is what we are gonna do tomorrow! ;)
We are going to the PJ campus so my mum can register me for the Foundation in Natural and Built Environment course (FNBE).
I am not even sure if I will like that course but heck, I am seriously so sick of thinking about the future.
Furthermore, if you think the course is not suitable for you, you can just change course and Taylor’s will transfer your fees to another course!
So, yeah. No harm signing up for this foundation course to see what it has to offer,right?
Who knows I might love this course. ;P

The funny thing is, WEN YEE is coming along with me.
Muahahaha.
Before SPM, we were so sure that we’re gonna study psychology in HELP, but due to certain reasons, I changed my mind and so has she.

She’s gonna do FNBE also, but she wanna go March intake instead.

I am gonna give her 1001 reasons to go Jan intake with me.

It feels so good to actually type out a proper blog post again but sigh, as usual there’s nothing much to blog for now unless you wanna know how stressed I was since the 18th of last month! :P

a) Part time job.
I was thinking of being a tuition teacher who teaches primary school kiddos. But then, I realized that a tuition teacher actually plays a BIG role in the students lives! I can’t just teach them for a month and stop working ,can I? :(

b) MANDARIN CLASSES! :)
YES YES!
I just need to improve my pronounciation! I dont wanna learn how to read and write. Just speaking will do! :)
If there’s a Cantonese class then it would be better.
Heck. I’m struggling with speaking in Cantonese.

c) Baking classes & Cooking classesssss! :D:D
Okay. Maybe this is not necessary after thinking twice.
I’ll just find find a way to improve my cooking and baking skills, somehow.

I am currently watching Episode 12 now in the 8tv website.
Missed it last Sunday cause I went MV with the family to watch the movie “Where Got Ghost”.
Sat on the seat NEAREST to the screen. Damn weh, My eyes were about to pop out. LOL seriously. Damn hard to watch.
Furthermore, I am not a very big fan of horror movies.
The Sixth Sense and Child’s Play already gave me ENOUGH nightmares when I was a lil kiddo, but I still wanna get the excitement of being scared! :P

Hey people! :)
How’s the school holidays so far,eh?
Mine has been filled with tuitions and tuition and tuitions.
Haha. I sound so super nerdy but what to do, trials are coming and all the tuition teachers seem to be more panic than the SPM students themselves, no?

So anyway, I went to Crystal’s house a few days before the Prefect’s Farewell to check out her outfit since she needed help with it. And boy, that week was one of the best schooling weeks, ever.
You come to school as usual and you can go home whenever you want.
This is because of the influenza A thingy. :)
So on Thursday (If im not mistaken)
Angeline’s dad came to bring us back after recess.
and instead of going home, we went Brickfields to a shop called BOMBAY POINT to get ourselves bangles and bindis for the farewell.

As the title says so, today is the day where all the form 4s were looking forward to (..most of them, I hope) and the day where all the form 5s were retired as prefects.

I am talking about :

The day I thought I would cry and feel sad about it but, hell no.
I was in fact, pretty happy when I passed the sash over to Justine Phua. ;) Yeappppp! my baby JUSTINE is the new KETUA KEBAJIKAN, and ZHI WEI is the penolong! ;)

So anyway, after being a prefect for FIVE years, I will definitely miss the PREFECTS ROOM - The FIRST place where all the prefects will go to , the moment they step in to the school compound to sign in.

Oh and not forgetting the memos too, for coming late. ;P
I get it so often that I felt like there’s something missing when I didnt get a memo for the month of April.

Went to Nise’s blog a while ago and saw this :

Haha. In case you didnt know, “Weeeerps” is ANGELINE’S favorite word. You can hear her saying it in school like everyday. :)
It actually means “Wooops” but she says it with more.… Gaya. :P

So anyway, I am so damn bored right now. Mum went to school ~~cause I’m in trouble~~ for open day and yeah. She seems happy with my result… I think. :P

Bumped in to Mr. Karuna on the way out and he was like

“You know Carrine has not been coming to my class regularly….”
”NOOOO!!”        Haha I replied even before he finished his sentence. I thought he meant I ponteng class! And I didnt want my mum to misunderstand!

"…cause of prefect’s duty.”   He continued.
   Phew. and after he mentioned it, I remembered that his class is always the first period or the period after recess.
So as prefects, we will have to go to attend class slightly later than the normal students.
and He made me sound like I have not been showing up in his class when I did! Only a bit later.

”You know, Carrine is always in dreamland. She will go to America and I’ll have to bring her back to Malaysia. Who’s your neighbor?”

anyway,

these 4 pics here are good enough to remind me of how hardworking I am. I could not believe I slept at 4am just to finish the N.I.E mag, of course Kath and Nise stayed up with me too and we were doing our parts but still.. 4am is unbelievable. I can barely survive after 11:30pm but I stayed up till 4am and slept for only 2 hours before heading to school. WOW. I am so amazing.

How I wish I can do that everyday without feeling tired.
I have the I-can-never-get-enuff-sleep disease. :)

Hey people. It is like 1 :49 am now and yeah if you are wondering why am I still awake, blame Crystal! =P

We’re actually doing the slideshow for IU Day (Thanks a lot Khalis, and dont forget my present :P) and yeah Crystal is lying down doing it and Im taking a “break:” since I did part of the slideshow just now.

Downloaded some ciplak dvd converter and spent about an hour or so searching for some stupid key to activate it. Hah. I rock cause I found it. You should ask crystal how many times she tried to activate it cause there’s like about 1 million different codes lah.

The best thing is, we have tuition tomorrow at 9 am. Great. I bet I will not be able to concentrate. and we’re having lunch with the Kath and The nise! =) Cant wait. Oohh Night At The Museum 2 rocks.

Oh, and I need to get moral folio done during the holidays. and I am so proud of Justine, Ling Yean and Phui Kei. they will rock the program book this year. i dont know if i should cut my fringe cause i wanna try out something new but im afraid it will look horrible on me. i am definitely not going form 6 and i love my dad’s new phone. My eyes hurt very badly and i need a nap now.

REMEMBER THIS?

Okay. Maybe you dont.
Its a sparrow. My aunt’s maid who stayed here for a few weeks caught it and kept in under the green “cage” which is my dustbin. HAHA! but of course it was empty lah.
We released it the night it got captured.

and Just A WEEK ago,

A lil sparrow flew in and yeap. We kept it in a PINK “cage” this time. swt.

Unlike the previous sparrow, THIS one is a BABY BIRD! =)
It doesnt really now how to fly and yes! it is SO FREAKING ADORABLE!! =)

We assume that the baby sparrow is a female and we decided to name it IVY! :)

SEEEE!!! So cute! =) Its sleeping!

ohh and if you see the picture properly, there’s something yellow in front of its beak.HAHA. That’s because, we were afraid that it is going to die of hunger so we took ONE STRAND OF fried noodle and tried to feed it. (Since it is long and it looks like a worm. LOL)
But Ivy didnt eat. :(

My sister and I just can’t stop observing her. You should see the way she sleeps! DAMN funny and cute!

Like every year, this year’s one is held in University Malaya too!

…but a different court.. There’s no mamak stall there, so we had to chill under the SUN instead of drinking Milo ice under the shade like last year. Thank God I brought bread and enough supply of water.

Played against SMK Taman Desa and we lost to them! haha :P
BUT, we won SMK………!!!!!!!!
we wouldn’t be SO HAPPY winning them if they didnt “HAH!!” us!

Hellooo readers!
Well, you know what? I HATE CATS! … especially the ones in my apartment, the one and only BLACK kitty!
I wasnt so afraid of cats until one day when my family and I were eating in Neelas. There was this little cat and my sis was like feeding it with the ikan bilis from her nasi lemak when it decided to jump up on a chair next to mine to……get more ikan bilis I suppose.
And since I didnt expect the cat to be so… “naughty” , I got so scared and thats how it started - my fear for cats!! :O

Cats, in my opinion,are scary, very!
There was once , when I was just outside my house, tying my shoe lace when I heard a “meow”. I thought the noise was from somewhere far away from me but the moment I turn my head around, the cat was just there! Right behind me! A step away from me. Its like out of no where it appeared BEHIND me and yeah it is FREAKING SCARY,

But nothing is as scary as THIS :
I was on the 1st floor, waiting for a lift to go up to my house. So when the door opened, nobody came out of the lift, Which means the lift was empty when I was going in. And the moment I step into the lift, I saw something black on the right corner of the lift, and when I looked up, it’s the bloody black cat!
I mean I wasnt expecting anyone to be in the lift and suddenly there’s this kitty there! Sitting down, IN THE LIFT!
So I went in like normal and stared at the cat, hoping that it wont suddenly go crazy and attack me! I was so scared till my legs felt so weak, Yeap. I was THAT scared and I can remember every single detail of this incident because right after it happened, I ran back home and told my mum about it! It was so funny cause I have NEVER felt so scared till my legs felt so weak! :P

Bloody black cat! Got nothing better to do is it? Probably Khalis should introduce Triston to it (Hopefully it’s a she-cat) and they can bang together-gether every day and night and stop haunting me.

This cat followed me home once too and bermanja-manja-ed with me. wtf! Damn geli you know? That cat rubbed its body against my legs! The worst thing is, I didnt even realise it followed me home (cause it didnt meow ) until I felt something fury on legs while I was opening my house door. and my first reaction was :

”CAROLLL!!!!!”

Yeap, I shouted for my sis and she came out and saved my life!! :P

Stupid black cats.

Jordan even dreamt of cats becoming zombies and kill us!
Damn scary wehhh!
So, to those who owns a cat ,
Beware!! :P Jordan’s dream might come true… somehow…
